Rust that starts as a bubble or a dark ring under the paint will eat through a panel if you leave it. We cut back to clean metal, apply a rust converter and primer, colour-match and clear-coat the repair. Done early, a minor rust repair is cheap insurance — done late, the panel has to be replaced. Common spots: door edges, wheel arches, boot lids, and old stone-chip sites.

Common questions
- How do I know if it's minor rust or panel replacement?
- Send us a photo. If the rust is surface-only — light bubbling, a pin-hole or a stone-chip ring — we can cut it out, treat it, and repaint. If it's gone through the metal or the panel is structurally soft, we'll tell you straight and recommend replacement instead of wasting money on a repair that won't hold.
- Will the repair match the rest of the paint?
- Yes. We colour-match to your factory paint code, feather the edges into the surrounding panel, and clear-coat the area. On older cars where the rest of the paint has faded, we'll blend into the nearest seam so there's no visible line.
